Motor Generator Set
We often talk about what it
means to generate electricity but to many people this is a bit of a
mystery. I came to that conclusion after watching this video, see the
millions of viewers and reading the comments.
Here is a very simple generator set that uses two 12 volt batteries in
series to produce 24 volts dc to power a generator that produces 230
volts ac. The power is used to light a fairly large light bulb. All
generators work fundamentally in this way with many variations to the
voltages and energy sources.
