Underwater cities

Our cities are getting larger and larger there is no doubt and the population is increasing around the world. Using more land to expand cities means less farmland to grow food, something a growing population needs much more of.

At what point do we look to the world’s oceans to build our cities? Is the time right now?

Here is one designer’s vision of an underwater city that someday soon we may see become a reality.

As underwater cities go this one seems pretty well designed. I mean it doesn’t look like it will leak and that is pretty important.
