Spherical Solar Energy Generator
According to German architect André Broessel, the inventor of this solar
technology, this device is 35% more efficient than current solar panels
and is able to operate on cloudy days. It concentrates light by 10,000
times and when directed onto solar pv cells this equates to a large
improvement in energy production.
The spherical ball of glass collects the sun’s rays even on cloudy days
and focuses them to a point where the high energy density can be used.
As with all clean energy technology the costs of the hardware versus the
energy produced is always a factor we strive to not just compete with
fossil fuels develop a cheaper and sustainable energy source for the
world.
Enjoy the concept.
